Custom Handwriting Fonts
We create custom fonts based on your handwriting that you can use on any Windows or Mac OSX system!  What a great way to add that personal touch, or even preserve your child's handwriting as they grow!

Complete the template.
Use a fine or medium tip black marker or felt tip pen.
For best results...
Try to make letters the same size as much as possible.
Pay close attention to the lines marking the Ascender, X-height, Baseline, and Descender.
Ascender
X-height
The "top" line.  Letters do not typically rise above this line.  It usually marks the top of capital letters.
The "mid-point" line.  It is used to mark the top of most lower case letters.
Baseline
Used to mark the "bottom" of most letters.
Descender
Letters should not extend below this point.  This line marks the area that letters with descenders (or "tails", such as g and p) should extend to.
Scan the completed template (minimum resolution 300x300).

Send us the completed template.
Attach the image to an email and send it to us at order@justusfonts.com.  We accept the following formats: bmp, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, tiff, psd, pdf, and ai.

*Be careful that you do not fold the paper across your writing when mailing your template.
Step 5
Receive, install and use your new font!
Your order will be processed within 48 hours of receipt of your completed template.  Most orders will be finished much more quickly.  48 hours is the maximum time needed.

Payment must be made before your order can delivered..  Payment options include:

*You do not have to make payment before we begin working on your order, but payment must be made before it is delivered.
Once your font has been made and payment has been processed, you will receive your custom font via email.  If you have not received your font within 24 hours of submitting your payment, please contact us at order@justusfonts.com.
For the introductory price of just $20.00 (regular price $30.00), we will create a customized font for you that will include all uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and common symbols.  And all from your own handwriting!

TIPS
Use a fine to medium tip black marker or felt tip pen.  Ballpoint pens and colored markers may not transfer as cleanly.

To make the baseline easier to use (and have your letters line up more nicely), consider placing lined paper under the template, or using a ruler on top of the template.

Make sure that your signature is written completely within the box provided.  Descenders (tails) or flourishes that extend past the box are not digitized, which could create gaps in your signature.
